Job Description

As a Sales and Business Development Manager at Abroadly, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our services. You will identify and nurture partnerships, develop strategic sales plans, and work collaboratively with the marketing and operations teams to enhance our market presence. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for building relationships and achieving ambitious targets in the international education sector.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
Create and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, expand market share, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and Maintain Partnerships:
Identify and establish relationships with universities, educational consultants, and other stakeholders to promote Abroadly’s services.
  • Lead Client Engagements:
Present Abroadly’s offerings to potential clients and partners through meetings, events, and webinars.
  • Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns and the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline:
Track leads, proposals, and partnerships using CRM tools to ensure timely follow-up and closure.
  • Represent Abroadly:
Attend industry events and conferences to showcase Abroadly’s mission and build professional networks.

Requirements

  • Experience:
5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in education, technology, or international services.
  • Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for building rapport and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Sales Acumen:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with the international education landscape, including study abroad programs and partnerships with universities.
  • Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze market trends, interpret data, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Tech Proficiency:
Experience using CRM software and other sales tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Self-motivated:
A driven, goal-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Flexibility:
Willingness to travel for meetings, events, and conferences as needed.
