Marketing and Communications Specialist

Job Description

As the Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that resonate with prospective students and partners. You’ll manage content creation, oversee social media channels, and implement strategies to enhance Abroadly’s brand visibility. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to ensure that our message inspires and informs our audience effectively.

What You Will Do

  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with our mission to attract and engage students.
  • Content Creation: Craft compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Manage Social Media: Plan, schedule, and monitor posts across social media channels, responding to comments and engaging with followers.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee marketing campaigns, including email campaigns, paid ads, and partnerships, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Brand Management: Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communication channels.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the Admissions and Operations teams to align marketing initiatives with company goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creative and storytelling abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data to inform strategies.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the education or study abroad industry is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed globally.
